Is Mesotherapy A Treatment Worth Seeking?

I can understand very well that reducing cellulite through the natural way such as following a set of exercises can be just too much to bear for some of us.

So recently I started searching and reading up on some of the latest treatments available out there that have proven themselves to be highly effective...and I came across this latest treatment called Mesotherapy.

This treatment was apparently introduced in the United States in the late 1990s and subsequently made popular by the French doctor Dr Lionel Bissoon.

This procedure involves delivering a series of micro injections that sends "medicinal bullets" into the targetted area's middle layer skin to treat the condition.

Read all about this widely used treatment in his website at http://www.mesotherapy.com

So is it worth trying? All I can say is that since it is backed by countless success stories, it should not be given a miss, especially for those who have the means.

Fret not, as there are really simpler & natural ways of shedding that unwanted lot of fat tissues! Here are a few tips :-

(1)By simply switching your diet to one that is low on fats & high in fiber.

Can Cellulite Be Prevented In The First Place?

We know the famous phrase the says "Prevention is Better than Cure". If we have known the consequences, we would be more determined to prevent it from happening from the beginning, won't we?

However, the sad truth about cellulite is that it CANNOT be prevented, though we could do something to reduce it's effects. By the way, there is certainly no difference between the fat tissues we called cellulite and the normal fat that constitute obesity. It is only the way the fat is laid out beneath the skin.

As mentioned in my previous post, men compared to women are less susceptible to getting cellulite. Whereas women regardless of their age, race, weight or height tend to build up cellulite more easily especially around their thighs, arms and stomach. It is primarily because women's skin is generally thinner than men's.

Though preventing cellulite is not possible for now, that doesn't mean we remain indifferent to unhealthy habits like smoking, eating high fat foods, consuming caffeine and alcohol and excessive sunbathing, as these activites tend to dry up the skin. Instead, maintaining a healthy diet comprising vegetables, fruits, vitamins & minerals as well as drinking plenty of water will keep one's skin soft & moisturised & thus lessen the effect of cellulite built up.

So much for now...

Can Men Also Develop Cellulite?

When one think of cellulite one usually associates it with women. It is commonly one of those "stuff" that consitute a women's agenda over high tea sessions, and also forms one of the hot topics found in women's magazines which often paints an ugly & undesirable picture of it.

However, I have rarely, if never at all heard any man talking about cellulite! Does that imply that men never suffer from it? Or is it only a woman's problem?

Whilst it is more uncommon for men to get cellulite, it can and does happen. The main reason there are very few occurences in men, is because men's skin is generally thicker than women's.

Women tend to spot cellulite on their thigh, buttock, breasts and abdomen regions, while men tend to get it on their neck and abdomen areas.

Honestly, I for one am so-called "endowed" with cellulite...in my tummy or abdomen area!

Compared to women, men's fat is stored deeper into the skin & often distributed into different locations, which is another reason why they do not suffer from it as often.

Bye for now...
